New Mexico Tech’s new chemistry building is a state-of-the-art teaching and research facility. The building features a spacious three-story atrium and a modular floor plan. Green building elements include the use of materials with recycled content, building envelopes, controlled natural light, overhangs, separation of labs and offices for more efficient HVAC performance, glazing, insulation, and water conservation. The project is LEED Silver®.
